" Wir verbrachten einen wunderschönen Urlaub auf Zypern, die Villa war in einem sehr schönen und sauberem Zustand, wundervolle Lage mit Panorama auf Paphos und das Meer, ruhige Umgebung und doch ist man in ca. 5-10min (Auto) mitten in der Tourist area von Paphos und nicht zu vergessen den Pool, in dem wir uns jeden Abend abkühlten. Freundlicher Villenbesitzer.

It was exactly as described, looked exactly like the photos, was even larger than we had expected and had great views with the lights of Paphos twinkling in the distance. " (...) The Sunhill Villa in Tsada Pafos was more than we ever imagined. Nestling in the hills we were looking down on the town of Pafos four miles away. The villa was spotless, with a swimming pool giving endless fun to us all, especially our grandchildren.

It was so nice and a very personal touch to meet the owner of the villa Mr Constantinos Stylianides, he popped in from time to time to make sure all was well, whilst his father who lived on the other side of the road, kept an eye on the villa when we went out. One evening he came over with a pile of blankets, fearing we may be a little cold at night, we tried to explain to him that coming from England it was like our hottest day in summer at night in Cyprus.

Having a car was a great asset, and we used it to explore the whole of the eastern area of Cyprus, to the point of getting lost for hours in the Troodos Mountains when we decided to get there across country. Thank goodness for the ramblers placing red arrows on the odd tree or rock, or we may be still trying to find our way out now. Though I will say, it's the best way of seeing this lovely country (Getting Lost) as you see far more than staying on the main roads.

Most evenings we went into Pafos for a meal. Every taste is catered for, from quick takeaways to dishes from all of the well know culinary countries of the world.

The only down side of the holiday was having to come home after a week, we should have stayed for at least two.
