Polis and it's local area

Polis

The countryside village Polis (Polis Chrysochus) is well-known for it's hospitality of the local people. The village is situated at the sea-shore on the North West Coast of Cyprus. There are no large hotels and travellers can enjoy the peace and tranquillity of this small but attractive village.

On the village square you can find cafes, bars and traditional restaurants, shops, banks etc.

Locally made wines, including the sweet dessert wine "Commandaria" and the home baked cuisine are a few of the delights on offer in Polis.

Our recommendation in Polis:
A beautiful and popular place in the heart of Polis offers you a great choice of all Drinks, an excellent Service, big Screen TV, Pool Billiard, Video Games and Music & Dancing all night long.

This is the place for a laid-back lifestyle, enjoying a delectable seafood meal in one of the harbour-side tavernas, watching the fishing boats. There is also a selection of shops, bars and restaurants to choose from. Quiet beaches stretch along the shores on each side of the harbour and offer various sporting activities.

Latchi as well as Polis give you a true Cypriot atmosphere and an impression of the "real Cyprus".
